I L♥ve Y♥u
When life is laid down in l♥ve, it is most noble, most saving act of L♥ve.
As I am in day two of pondering this L♥ve I’m reflecting on this act, this Great Sacrifice GOD made for us. As a parent I can’t even begin to think how I could sacrifice either of my children for anyone else. I’m sure many of you can relate to that thought. Even if you are not a Believer you have to admit that it’s such a final act. An act of sacrificing one life for another.
Ask any parent who has lost a child in service to their country how it feels to have given up their child for you? We don’t have to imagine or ask, we hear them. All are so proud of their children, and yet at the same time, they surely in their ♥ of ♥’s want their children back. They could think of a bazillion ways things could have, should have turned out. In some ways, when it all started, even though as parents they knew this could be one of the outcomes, they still can’t believe they are living it in such finality.
† L♥ve Y♥u †
Now we have another scenario. We have *GOD* offering up His Son Jesus for us. We have this GOD whom you might not even know, who you have yet to ask forgiveness from, sending His Son, to hold you from the grasps of Hell’s grip.
*GOD* sent His son, to heal, save, to die with hands nailed to cross to set you and I free from dying. He did it to show His †dying† LOVE for us. Safe in those outstretched arms is where we find forgiveness. It’s where we begin to live with purpose, praise and a grateful ♥.
GOD’s Justice Doesn’t Look Like Ours
Let me give you an example of justice. Justice as humans believe has not changed much over the centuries. We often can be heard, can be found wanting, that old eye for an eye. Watch the news, listen to the voices that cry out for justice. Listen to the masses of many who want to see someone suffer, be condemned for their sins, or as some say, the lawlessness, the taking of a life.
Ever see the Stephen King movie Storm of the Century? The line is: Born in sin, come on in. That is the way it works. satan does not want you to choose rightly. He sugar coats, tricks and trades your life for life with him forever and always.
It Wasn’t The First Time
We viewed and saw this live and in color this last year. It wasn’t the first time someone stood ready to be condemned. Throughout history the clamor of the masses wanted someone stoned, someone hung, someone killed for their wrongdoings. This past year we watched such a moment unfold on television with Casey Anthony.
My take on all this doesn’t matter to anyone. However I’m going to say this yet again… I do believe if we had not made this trial a reality show of entertainment, I do so very believe we would have seen a different result in the end.
Now I’m not like some of you who can swear she was guilty. That might make you mad, like it did to many others around me at the time, I don’t care. It is where I stand. I stand more in awe of the injustice of making such thing entertainment. We’ve been watching so much unreality of reality television I do believe as a viewing public, the very next stage of reality would be to hunger and thirst after, not the righteous outcome, but for blood.
Picture if you will now that woman at the well, drawing water. She could have been condemned long ago, but at the well, she saw something, she saw no disgust, no despising of her. She saw †L♥ve. She heard His Words, His Words of “Follow Me, just believe, I am all you will ever need to be free.”
Imagine now yourself. Standing at the edge of your “the end”. There really is no end, just a new beginning in either Hell or Heaven.
Now it is you standing at the well, thirsting and hungering, and someone is standing there wanting your life. He wants you to follow him all the way to Hell. satan knows that if you just continue on in not believing, that believing nothing is leaving you in his court.
What if this is your last day. What if, what if, what if. Many people plan like there is no tomorrow. They have all their ducks of their future all lined up and in a row. They make sure that the OCD factor of their life is in perfect order. Yet this one thing, this letting go and letting GOD have control is something they’ve yet to do. If this is you, I pray today is the day you give the weight of the world, even all the injustices to the One who is so very just.
Jesus stood in that place of being condemned just for you. He stood down so that He could stand up for you and I. On that day of days satan thought he’d won. Just as on that day with Casey Anthony many thought we lost. Sometimes justice doesn’t look anything at all like mans, does it now?
Let It Go
Choose today to have that peace that comes from letting go and letting yourself be free in-CHRIST Jesus. The only thing standing in the way of you being not condemned is you.
In Casey Anthony and her case, we found once again that mans system of justice fails. Just as you entrusting the outcome of your life in your own hands will fail.
This L♥ve of Jesus is one that can’t be compared. This is the L♥ve that is the purest. This is L♥ve beyond compare.
Now, in this moment, do as many have done before. Many before you and I stood condemned to die. We were guilty, unlike Jesus, yet it is He who paid the price for our sin. We wonder in wonderment, how can that be? It is amazing isn’t it? It is amazing alright, it’s more than a song of amazing grace, it’s L♥ve that is pure. It is that sacrificial L♥ve of laying down ones life so that we might live Eternally.
Most people have heard John 3:16 before. You’ve seen Tim Tebow tote on his head. However many times you might have read it, heard it, thought you understood it, if you have not accepted it, you might as well have won the lottery and never picked up the money.
Until you receive it, you don’t have it.
Today you don’t have to take my words for anything. You can leave this blog and roll along to something else. My heartfelt prayer is that all I know I can do as a Bible Believing CHRISTian woman is share my faith of knowing this L♥ve. Love that saved me a sinner, from the grasp of hell.
Many people today want to be somewhere on vacation. They’ve either come off of Spring Break, or they are heading into it. Some are planning travels for tomorrow. All the ways of finding rest in a time of beautiful Springtime weather.
How about you? How about me? I’d rather be here sharing my faith, than anywhere else. Unless of course I was face to face with you, one on one. I’d love to tell you how I love being with Jesus more than anyone else, and being with Him more than anyone else. It is my ♥ that longs for Heaven’s Home.
How about you? How about me? As a person who loves the balance of love and justice together, how about you? How about coming to that place where you won’t get what you deserve in “the end” of your life? How about you choose this day to know this †L♥ve†?
Jesus Holds The Power Over Life and Death
There are some grave facts to consider today. The grave is not our final destination. Nope, it’s not. The cemetery is not a final resting place. Heaven or Hell. Yes, those are the choices.
28-29“Don’t act so surprised at all this. The time is coming when everyone dead and buried will hear his voice. Those who have lived the right way will walk out into a resurrection Life; those who have lived the wrong way, into a resurrection Judgment.
Jesus did what nobody could do. Many people sacrifice their lives, noble lives lived to die to save a country, win a war, choosing the battle to fight for our lives. We admire, love and honor them.
Jesus died for all! Nobody could have done that. Not one soul living was sinless or blameless enough to do it.
So the grave question is, who will you choose this day?
*GOD* Holds The Key
Jesus is at your ♥’s door knocking. Will you open, admit, believe, receive Him today?
Things That Stop You
Maybe you hear that knocking and you are fearful. Maybe you are worried about all those around you who will hate you, like many a Christ Centered Bible Believer is hated in this world.
Maybe you hear that knocking and you say you aren’t ready to give up your sin filled life? You know what? Everyone has to start somewhere. Everyone of us are you. We each have sin in our lives. Don’t let anyone tell you that one sin is comparable to another in being some sort of venial or mortal sin. Sin is sin in GOD‘s Eyes. We all sin and fall short.
Excuses, Excuses, Excuses!
Do you remember hearing them in the above mentioned court case. Same for you today. I remember everyone, and by everyone I mean all the media hoopla out there and everyone in the break room talking about excuses made, excuses given. Remember the irritation? Yes you do. Now imagine yourself coming up with your bazillion and one excuses. Trying to make a way for yourself when really there was just the one way.
Think Again About Human Court Cases
Now think about a Heavenly Court Case. One where you are standing before the Judge, GOD. At His side is Jesus. Just like in a court case, some evidence is admitted in, some not so much.
On this day, when we stand before GOD there will be a moment of silence on our part. We will not be able to stand before GOD and tell Him of all our goodness, and all our good deeds. There is only One Way into Heaven, One Key that unlocks the way for you to enter in.
11-15Entering into this fullness is not something you figure out or achieve. It’s not a matter of being circumcised or keeping a long list of laws. No, you’re already in—insiders—not through some secretive initiation rite but rather through what Christ has already gone through for you, destroying the power of sin. If it’s an initiation ritual you’re after, you’ve already been through it by submitting to baptism. Going under the water was a burial of your old life; coming up out of it was a resurrection, God raising you from the dead as he did Christ. When you were stuck in your old sin-dead life, you were incapable of responding to God. God brought you alive—right along with Christ! Think of it! All sins forgiven, the slate wiped clean, that old arrest warrant canceled and nailed to Christ’s cross. He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets.
Jesus Becomes Your Sealed Record
When you admit you are a sinner, believe that Jesus died for you, rose again and that He alone can forgive you of your sins, you admit you are a sinner in need of His forgiveness, you are forgiven. You admitted it, you received it, and in this belief you can rest. You are now able to grow in-Christ Jesus. At this point you should. There is a little lesson of sorts that is taught to children, and since Scripture says we are all to be like children, when it comes to coming to Christ, how about it? How about I explain it, or allow someone else to explain in terms that keep you from being a bit, let’s say… color blind. We’ll reveal a few colors that bring you to Life.
The record of your sinful life sealed up and held in His Hands. However, in exchange, you now live for Him.
This is where a lot of people fail to understand that Jesus promised to give us someone to help. Enter into a Bible Believing CHRIST-centered life, the Holy Spirit. The Comforter, as Jesus said.
9-11But if God himself has taken up residence in your life, you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of him. Anyone, of course, who has not welcomed this invisible but clearly present God, the Spirit of Christ, won’t know what we’re talking about. But for you who welcome him, in whom he dwells—even though you still experience all the limitations of sin—you yourself experience life on God’s terms. It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s!
12-14So don’t you see that we don’t owe this old do-it-yourself life one red cent. There’s nothing in it for us, nothing at all. The best thing to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life. God’s Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go!
All Things New
Just follow Him and all things become new. It’s a fresh slate, a fresh start. Does this mean we won’t sin? Wouldn’t that be nice. Don’t kid yourself on that one. People are going to be out there ready to trip you up. You yourself will trip yourself, you know, how we do, and then we look down like someone or something tripped us, when in fact we tripped on our own two feet. We know it was our clumsy selves but we look anyway. That’s how it is. The thing is, we must own it. We fail, sometimes fall. It’s that fall though that affords us to remember, like now, His Grace. We allow the Holy Spirit to dust us off, and we put ourselves together again. We try again. This is why you see people fail, and you judge. Yet, you and I do it too. We even try to cover up our own trip on the walk-way to something else that isn’t there.
The Heart of the Matter
It’s all about learning your ABC’s all over again. It wasn’t so hard then, and it’s not going to be now. Not with the Helper, the Holy Spirit walking with you.
The ♥ of the matter is you. So how about it? The question is being asked by GOD: Do you love Me?
Do you admit
Do you believe
Do you receive
Do you accept the Love of My SON?
16-18Christ brought us together through his death on the cross. The Cross got us to embrace, and that was the end of the hostility. Christ came and preached peace to you outsiders and peace to us insiders. He treated us as equals, and so made us equals. Through him we both share the same Spirit and have equal access to the Father.
19-22That’s plain enough, isn’t it? You’re no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.
Until all have heard of and know His Love,
