~The Lion and The Lamb~
~Once upon a time~ there was a ferocious lion. He wandered to and fro taking the lives of those who entered his presence. His roar and his mighty power were known throughout the land. The wrath of not following the lead of the lion left everyone knowing that unto him, they must submit, or be devoured.
One day wandering into the land came a Lamb. A meek and mild Lamb who came tenderly and softly telling a new tale, that of pure love. All the creatures of the kingdom sat in amazement and were mesmerized by His unfailing sureness and to them He appeared as powerful, yet in a unique way, as that of the lion.
As all tales go, there is always a time of testing and trial, for it was inevitable that one day the Lamb and the lion were going to meet. And so it was that, that day, was here and it was now.
Each creature cowered at the presence of the lion entering and the loudness of his forceful growl. Yet something on this day was different. As the lion growled, the lamb drew near. Instead doing what all other creatures had done past, and present, this Lamb was entering into the very center ring with the lion.
What happened next made every creature bow and every creature from that day forward confess that this was The Lamb who came to save them. For you see in the presence of The Lamb, the lion submitted and was changed. Henceforth the King of the Jungle was now a beautiful Meek and Mild Lamb.
Come See For Yourself!
Though the little tale above is untrue, the Words below from Scripture are true. This Lamb, the one who came to save, He is the Lamb of GOD. He is unto this day still seeking to save the lost. If you would like to know Him, read the Word–GOD’s inspired Word, The Bible. If you seek Him, He can be found. If you repent and ask Him into your heart life, you also, like the lion in the tale, will be forever changed. You will indeed be a new creation, a new life, a new name written forever, in the Lambs Book of Life.
Though Jesus is the very Lamb of GOD, He also is the Lion of Judah. You can go on choosing not to believe, in which case you are left in the hands of GOD’s greatest enemy, satan. Not believing and receiving is believing in something else. It makes a difference to GOD, and on that day, you will either have entrance to Heaven, or you forever and always will be banished to Hell. It’s not nice, but is good and evil ever something nice? It is not, yet to this day we continue to make movies of good and evil, and for the most part we always want good to prevail. Thus it is with GOD. He wants you and I to be on His side, where He sits at the Father’s right hand.
The Message (MSG)
“The next day John was back at his post with two disciples, who were watching. He looked up, saw Jesus walking nearby, and said, “Here he is, God’s Passover Lamb.”
